Laplage Diving center in the Abhur Ash Shamaliyah District of Jeddah is a favourite base for exploring the Red Sea. Described as an “amazing dive centre in an amazing Red Sea dive location,” it offers access to multi-depth coral reefs teeming with marine life. With instructors operating under both SSI and PADI, it’s an ideal spot for training, guided dives, and advancing your scuba diving skills.
Divers highlight the exceptionally run operation and the welcoming team – names like Umar, Hamza and Marina come up repeatedly for being “super helpful.” The centre is clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating for training, relaxing, or resting between dives, plus a good café on-site. You’ll find a wide selection of diving equipment options to choose from, along with a strong emphasis on safety. Many call it their “preferred place to dive” and “highly recommend everyone to come,” making Laplage Diving center a standout choice on Jeddah’s northern coast.

in the last weekOne of the most beautiful places where I find comfort as a diving instructor, I frequent the beach almost daily to train students and dive with tourists. The center offers comprehensive services, and the area is clean and safe. Beneath the sea lie many beautiful and abundant creatures, including schools of tuna and barracuda, and numerous clownfish (Nemo). Experiencing the site is enough to convince you that the positive energy emanating from it is a sign of tranquility and happiness. Captain ibrahim Al-Turki

4 months agoNice experience and safe captain, however, time was spent is around 20 minutes, unlike what's been mentioned in their advert(30-40 min). Then I inquired about that, I was told by the captain that because I was a beginner, its not safe to stay longer ! This didn't make sense to me as I was perfectly fine under the water. They have issues with communications, I wasn't sure who's in charge, who's the captain, where to go, what to do. I was sat alone for around an hour waiting for someone to guide me. Its not an organised company I am afraid. Lastly, I have been chasing for my photos taken during diving over the last week, but without a genuine response.

5 months agoThis diving center is dangerous and does not abide by the local rules and regulations! The worst diving center the area is filled with tiger sharks and king baracudas that are very aggressive! Just last year a few divers died in that area which doesn’t make it safe for diving. The currents and tides are unexpected especially in winter!
